Big Burrito challenge
Leading up to the traditional Mexican festival Cinco de Mayo on the 5th may, Mexican restaurant franchise Mad Mex is getting into the celebration by offering a challenge of conquering The Big Burrito. The Man vs Burrito competition pits challengers against a double portion of two tortilla dishes weighing in at 1 kilo. Any customer who is able to complete the Mad Mex Burrito challenge throughout May will be rewarded with a limited edition t-shirt.
The Mad Mexican Challenge will be supported with in-store merchandising and promotional activity across print publications across Australia to support their 9 stores located in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
The promotional according to founder Clovis Young came about after customers advised they were able to consumer more than their standard Burrito so they thought it would be a fun way to mark Cinco de Mayo.
If you think you are able to defeat the Big Burrito you can face the challenge at one of their following locations: Darlinghurst, Circular Quay, Blacktown, Castle Hill, Tuggerah, Macquarie Centre, Norwest, Windsow (VIC) and Fortitude Valley (QLD).
